How KriJe Works: Approach and Process

Evgeniya Krivosheeva's professional approach to textile design: systematic work from measurements to installation, attention to detail, and textile as part of interior architecture
The System

I don't select fabrics 'from a catalog' and I don't sell 'just curtains'. I design textile as part of interior architecture.
In my projects, it's a complete system: — measurements — gather calculations — curtain rod and niche schematics — recommendations for builders — fabric selection — curtain manufacturing at my own production facility — installation and adjustment
This approach allows for a well-thought-out textile solution for the interior without compromises or rework.
That's probably why interior designers often work with me — they need everything to be clear, technological, and predictable in terms of results.
Why I'm Sometimes 'Too Meticulous'

I can: — spend a long time choosing a shade of beige — recalculate the gather ratio — argue over an extra 5 centimeters of niche — send fabric back if it 'doesn't drape right'
Not because of perfectionism for its own sake. But because these little details ultimately make the difference between 'okay' and 'wow'. If you're going to do it — do it properly. Otherwise, why even start.
My Goal
To be completely honest — I want people to stop treating textile as an 'afterthought'.
Because it's textile that: softens the light, dampens echoes, adds depth, makes the interior feel alive.
And when textile is planned in advance, the space looks calm, confident, and expensive — without excessive decoration or ostentatious luxury. That's my favorite aesthetic.
If You're Planning a Project

If you're looking for a textile designer or planning custom curtains for an apartment, house, or commercial space, it's best to involve textiles during the renovation phase.
This saves your budget, avoids rework, and allows you to create a cohesive interior from the start.
I handle 'turnkey' projects — from concept to installation — and work with private clients and designers throughout Russia.
